Feminist Majority Endorses Annette Taddeo for Congress for Florida’s 26th District

The Feminist Majority, a leading national women’s rights organization, endorses Annette Taddeo for Congress.

“The Feminist Majority is thrilled to support Annette Taddeo in her race to represent Florida’s 26th Congressional District. Annette is a proven leader in her community who has long fought for women’s economic equality and opportunity. Her support for policies like equal pay for women, paid sick days, and affordable childcare will give Floridians the fair shot they deserve,” said Eleanor Smeal, President of the Feminist Majority. “Her entrepreneurial spirit and inspiring story will bring a fresh perspective and a much needed voice to Congress.”

Taddeo is featured on the Feminist Majority Political Action Committee’s website. The Feminist Majority PAC was founded in 2002 to support feminist candidates for president, Congress, and some state offices. The FM PAC seeks to end the under-representation of women and minorities in elected office and achieve political parity for women. With the wide range of feminist issues that we support — including women’s healthcare and reproductive rights, violence against women prevention, economic equity, civil rights, LGBT rights, collective bargaining, immigration, gun control, CEDAW ratification, Equal Rights Amendment passage, affirmative action and environmental protection — FM PAC’s ultimate goal is to elect feminist women who will champion our causes in the halls of Congress and in state legislatures across the nation.
